About the author
I am a mom of 3. I accomplished a Master of Business Administration in Management from Amberton University, Garland TX in 2005, Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Winona State University, Winona MN in 2002, and Associates in Art and Science from Rochester Community and Technical College in Rochester MN in 2000. I attended high school and primary school in Kenya, where I’m originally from. During my school days, Kenyan education system adapted to the British system of education. Currently, I’m an educator. I teach 7th-grade math in Texas. I enjoy my challenging platform as it grants me the opportunity to change the world in a different way in addition to teaching how to lose weight naturally.

About the book
The economy may go down but it never really gets down until it’s down in my own home. I realized this when I became a stay at home mom with no income but relying on my husband’s income to sustain us. That’s when I realized that happiness does not only depend on how much I bring home but what lifestyle I choose to live with the little that I have.

When I got my daughter in 2005, I gained weight and carried it for 3 years before I decided to lose it. It was the birth of my twins in 2008 that inspired me to lose the weight, use fashion to uplift my self-esteem, and get organized in order to be able to happily survive my busy broke lifestyle. The decision to lose weight and how I lost it is what inspired me to write the book, “Losing Weight Naturally.” I lost about 70 pounds within 5 months and shocked many.

I do believe that my book is going to stand out because I am not asking people to spend money in order to be happy but to adopt an inexpensive lifestyle and be happy with it. Hence, natural happiness will follow. The weight loss tips that I have given are the natural activities that will not require one to be rich to afford. I have not used any difficult scientific terms that are likely to discourage people from either reading my book or trying out the tips I have given. I do believe that anyone who reads the book will find something inspiring and life-changing. Most of what I have written is from personal experiences and the experiences of those around me. I have given examples of most situations and I do believe that if it applies to me or those around me, it can apply to any reader to some degree.

With that said, I do understand that some people with health challenges and illnesses may be unable to carry out the activities I have suggested in this book. Theirs may be a different path better recommended by a doctor. I wish them all the best of good health and God’s blessings and happiness.
