Nemo's Ghost

Nemo's Ghost

by Marshall Ginevan

About The Book

An American submarine company is using a submarine from the 1940s as a testbed for the next generation of technology in batteries, electric motors, and electronics. Its proving grounds are China’s claimed waters around Taiwan, hiding in the cold dark waters, and silently stalking China’s warships and North Korea’s submarines.

China and North Korea are preparing to invade Taiwan, but their warships keep getting sunk by a mysterious attacker. It is an elusive hunter that strikes without warning, sounding like ghost submarines and sea dragons, then fades back into the cold dark waters. China and North Korea blame each other for the attacks while China desperately searches the waters for this silent sea monster.

A small group of Americans who knows the secrets of Nemo’s Ghost desperately try to regain control of the old submarine before it leads to a war with China and North Korea. Has the new technology slipped the leash of human control? Or has artificial intelligence decided to rebel against its human creator?
