About The Book
Comprised of satire, describe the happenings which take place in a retirement home somewhere in North America and also in Australia. She talks about the different characters she meets along the way, and her style consists of short vignettes about her strained relationship with her daughter's Aussie husband, and of the hilarious situations she encounters along the way. She has published this book in the 'twilight' of her years.
Dolley Delanty is a woman of few words and says it the way it is. The book is written tongue-in-cheek, and it is hoped there are not too many hurt feelings as a result.
