Time Keeper's Chronicles

by P. Clauss

About The Book

Who knew that something lived in antique clocks? A group of long-lived people did. They had known for centuries. They also knew these beings could affect humans and worked to keep them from causing harm. Grant Stone, a clock shop owner, was one of these people. He had thought life with these clock dwellers predictable and boring until he had a visitor one evening. From that point, his life changed as he learned more about these beings, what they could do, and an evil that also affected one of his kind. Now, the world was faced with human and non-human enemies that wanted to destroy and disrupt mankind by altering the perception of time.

About The Author

P. Clauss, an avid reader, has enjoyed writing all her life. As a child, she wrote about her mother for a Mother's Day writing contest and won $25. When she was in high school, one of her teachers encouraged her to write. During this time, she wrote a sci-fi novel that was submitted but was never published. During her college years, she laid down the pen while she pursued an advanced degree in a medical profession. Once established in her profession, she picked up the pen to put words to paper so she could share her worlds and characters in fiction and insights of faith in inspirational writings. During the years, she has written an article series for a small town newspaper, articles for an online Christian professional publication, and has poems published in different venues. Her online e-book offerings include a series of Christian devotional type books, Sci Fi/Fantasy series, and a collection of children stories. There are more stories that are currently being developed and will be published in due time.

Passion for books, reading, and writing, drives P. Clauss to keep doing both. Although she wrote in secret as she became fully engaged with another career, when the opportunity came forth to share her work with others, she hesitantly brought her worlds, characters, and stories into the light. As the few years have passed since she self-published her first works, she has become more confident in spreading her literary wings and navigating the brave, new world of self-publishing on a bit bigger scale. Is her goal fame and fortune? Not really. In her mind, reviews from readers relating their experiences with one of her worlds and characters would brighten her day and encourage her to share more.
