To Have and to Hold

Aubrey Page QC High Court Judge, a forty-seven-year-old bachelor is at cross roads in his life. He had a fairly active social life and was content with his present lifestyle. That was until the event in October 1994 when his life was to change in a most unforeseen set of circumstances. Presiding over the trial of Lindsay Shawcross charged with the murder of her mother, Judge Aubrey Page couldn’t understand why the woman in the dock vaguely reminded him of someone; but it wasn’t until a verdict of not guilty was announced that a set of unusual circumstances led the judge to become involved with the McKenzie family at 27 Bedford Square, Bloomsbury. London This is Aubrey’s story, how he became involved with the McKenzie’s especially Dr. Josephine McKenzie, and how he realised one cold December night in 1994 he wanted more than friendship with Dr. Josephine, and how he would go about persuading his Dr. Jo to reciprocate his feelings.
