Olive and Kelsey met in December 2014 when Olive was just five weeks old. On January 2, 2015, Olive came home with Kelsey, and they became inseparable ever since. On October 1, 2019, Kelsey was in a traumatic event that left her struggling with PTSD. After working with her therapist, Cindy Fazendin, Olive became Kelsey’s service animal. Olive has helped Kelsey overcome flashbacks, anxiety attacks, and nightmares. Even though Kelsey has overcome most of her PTSD symptoms, Olive remains to be her service dog to help Kelsey.
