This collection delves into the life of a poet who has weathered various mental challenges. The author hopes to help others going through similar circumstances through her narratives of survival. The poems start out making one feel nice and all stirred in. But in the end, it gets a person unstirred with all the turmoil.

Donella Dornwell McLean has been writing poetry since she was thirteen. She won the Quill and Scroll Award for Creative Writing in high school. She has earned her Bachelor of Arts in Creative Writing and English at Southern New Hampshire University. Donella has three other poetry collections: Answer to My Ellipsis, Contentions with Joy, and Perspirations on Paper.
