About The Book

THE GODLY PROJECT, BOOK ONE, is an inspirational fiction that teaches on self-empowerment through the realization of and communication with the Divine Self within. The story starts with two old friends, Old Man Huang and Sifu Wang, whose relationship dates back to China. Both had escaped to Malaysia (then Malaya) in the 1950s during the Anti Movement campaign in China. Now Old Man Huang seeks Sifu Wang, a renowned enlightened qigong master to teach his grandson, Hai San, the Secrets of the Universe in order that the boy, now fifteen years old, will have a better advantage in life than others. Hai San had lost his parents and sister a few years back due to a road accident and he now lives with his grandfather. Initially reluctant to teach Hai San the secret doctrine as he feels the knowledge is too profound for a teenager to handle, Sifu Wang finally agrees and the story brings us through the varied experiences of the boy as he undergoes the training to clear himself of all defaults in the lead to self-mastery. The main storyline centers on the boy’s intent together with his schoolmates to win the coveted price of a small economy car (useful for students) in a school lottery and Hai San approaches his mentor for help to secure the prize. Thus begins his training where he is taught to access his own Personal Universe to discover his past lives to better understand the person that he is today. As he begins to practise the teachings which involve a series of breathing techniques and self-talk, Hai San is able to release traumas from his physical body, the vows of poverty made through lifetimes of abstinence and free himself of his own perception of low self-worth which is affecting his ability to receive all the good in his current life. As with all paths of ascension, the story is not devoid of any confrontation with his own personal demons and doubts. But the easy, amiable and supportive relationship with his mentor serves as a healing balm to his fears and anxiety. The story ends on a happy note when he manages to win a dream prize in the school lottery.
