About The Author

Josie Townsend was born in regional NSW Australia, the eldest daughter of five children. Her life as a single parent has been a challenge. She is raising three children after her husband's suicide which left her with many associated difficulties. She began writing as a form of expressing her feelings and frustrations. She has recorded her life's journey, and it has developed into her first novel which is based on a true story. As a great fan of Steven Spielberg and Stephen King novels and movies, she changed genres and began writing supernatural thrillers based on other cultures, myths, legends, and folklore. She feels that writing fictional stories is liberating as she enjoys bringing imagined characters to life. The reader develops intimacy and grows along with them. She loves telling thrilling stories and will continue to write suspenseful, enthralling, and creepy novels. When she was much younger, she had a car accident and lost sight of her left eye, so she is a vision-impaired writer, but she endeavors to follow her heart's desires and keep moving forward in life. She never lets life's hardships hold her hostage.

Every dream starts out as a thought, and if you apply motivation and your skills to the talents that you were blessed with, that's when ideas can turn dreams into reality.
